How to Immortalize Yourself
Performed for statues carved into a sea cave at Piedigrotta in Pizzo, Italy. In imitation as the sincerest form of flattery, a touristic clown in elegant satin organza traipses through an altar of carved characters and attempts to emulate/engage her audience. This instinctual urge to cast action into eternal image propels her into the arms of crashing waves upon rocks; into a realization that maybe destruction can only lead to immortalization.
